Tranmere story
Danny Lloyd is an English forward from Liverpool. He began in Southport’s youth set-up before senior spells with Colwyn Bay, Lincoln City, Tamworth and AFC Fylde.
A prolific campaign with Stockport County earned Lloyd a move to Peterborough United in 2017. He later played for Salford City and joined Tranmere Rovers in November 2020, before continuing with Gillingham, Rochdale and Livingston. Lloyd returned to Southport in 2024 and was named the club’s leading scorer for 2024–25.
